Neverwinter Nights (NWN) was a computer roleplaying game that started on AOL back in the early to mid 1990's. When AOL dropped it, there was a long wait before the game would come back again. The Neverwinter Nights Consortium was formed by some of the players of the "old" NWN in anticipation of the release of the "new" NWN by BioWare. The objective was to recreate an online community similar to the one that had formed before it was abandoned by AOL. Herein lies a bit of history. |
